Within our new building you will find baby and toddler areas with creative play areas, direct access to their own sensory garden with panoramic views of the Tyne Valley. 

This is the active area where kites and hot air balloons fill the sky.  Closer to earth the environment is filled with learning opportunities enabling children to explore texture, shape and pattern.  It is here, with boundless energy, that children are supported on their quest to discover themselves and the world in which they live. 

We also have a multisensory area - the scent of lavender or camomile fills the air, dappled light dances across the ceiling, prisms send rainbows bouncing around the walls, themselves covered in a range of textual fabrics for little hands to explore, while mellow music calms the soul.

Early years is a place of fun where first friendships are formed and natural curiosities aroused.
